In reality, they can be difficult and messy. Conflict is a normal part of any healthy relationship. After all, two people can’t be expected to agree on everything, all the time. But nothing determines our success in our personal lives and in business as much as our ability to interact and work with other people.
On the other hand, nothing is messier in relationships than dealing with conflict. Simply put, a conflict is a situation in which one or both parties perceive a threat real or imagine. Learning how to deal with conflict – rather than avoiding it – is crucial. If you’re anything like me, you would rather avoid conflict, but it is part of life on planet earth. However, I believe there are both constructive and destructive ways to approach it.
