setting goals, it is important to not only get real and be specific, but it
is  just as important to set a variety of goals in all areas of your life.  These
goals might serve as stepping stones to larger goals.

When we put a date on our goal(s), we create a sense of urgency for achieving our goals.  When a date is set, then we can began to plan exactly how we are going to reach our goals. 

My sister and I planned a two-week vacation trip by car from Texas to Denver, Colorado two summers ago.  Our goal was to spend five days of the trip driving and sight-seeing in some of the major cities along the way before reaching our destination, Denver.  It was important for us to know how much time we had to give to driving this trip.

Kenneth Leon | Press Release: Facebook spam estimated to be a $200 million industry

The people on Facebook who tell you how their friend made $85,000 a year working from home are doing quite well for themselves. 

The Guardian reports that a team of researchers in Italy estimated that Facebook spam generates around $202 million a year in annual revenue and that spammers get paid between $13 to $58 per post depending on the number of subscribers a particular page has. 

While many of us find Facebook spammers annoying, the spammers themselves actually told the researchers that Facebook tolerates their presence because they generate more hits for Facebook pages.

“Facebook doesn’t ban us, simply because we generate the content on Facebook itself,” one spammer explained

Recognizing Our Own Self Worth - Syndication Express

I read a quote today that seems very pertinent to my own current situation.  Since I know that we all are ONE, I know that this particular quote could be very useful to many others as well.  So, I have decided to share it.  Unfortunately I do not know it’s origin.

“Sometimes walking away has nothing to do with weakness, and everything to do with strength.  We walk away not because we want others to realize our worth and value, but because we finally realize our own.”

How often do we stay in a relationship or living situation that no longer serves us?  Many times this is due to our own fear of change.  Or we might just be waiting for someone else to recognize our worth and value. Why, why, why??  What does it matter what others think?  What really matters is how we perceive our own self worth.  Do we live a good life?  Do we treat others with love and respect?  Do we honor our true God selves?  So this is my Science of Mind prayer treatment today.

I absolutely know that there is only one Source…….one Truth……one Power and one Creator.  I chose to call that source God.  God is always in, around and though all things.  There is no time in our lives when we are not completely immersed in God’s loving grace.  God is strength and divine inspiration.

Last week I wrote a post entitled, “Do You Fit the Bill?” It described five essential qualities of a great leader. During my research this week I found an outstanding post by Brad Lomenick. He notes, “I want leaders on my team who are “all in” and identified 12 characteristics of  such leaders. I couldn’t have said it better. 

So here are the first seven:

1. You don’t look at the clock, and you’re not punching a time card. Your role is not defined by 9 – 5.

2. You get it done no matter how long it takes. You are “managerless,” meaning no one else has to worry about whether you are getting it done.

3. You realize you are part of something bigger than yourself, and humbly accomplish the goals because of a larger motivation than just you.

4. Giving just the “minimum” amount of effort required to get by without “getting in trouble” doesn’t even cross your mind.

5. Your hard work and excellence is done with pure motives. You are not worried about climbing the ladder or impressing anyone

.

6. We is much more important than me. If I win, the team wins. If the team wins, I win.

4. Stay Interesting
The best way to keep your followers around is to stay interesting enough for them to stay.
5. Stop Repeating
Do not be repetitive with your posts or content. Too much repetition will make your followers lose interest and go somewhere else.
6. Automation is Bad
Do not perform too much automation and be sure to take the time to be original.

What I'm getting at is people tell me all the time they have five are six different businesses I congratulate them and tell them that are super multi - taskers.

You know how you get annoyed through your day sometimes by stupid little things, maybe the phone keeps ringing, the dogs barking all the time, doors slamming, the neighbours, someone comes to the door.  Everything and anything seems to be conspiring to pull you away from the job at hand, maybe today you had wanted to write your blog or list products in your store, any of the hundreds of the little jobs you have to keep on top of when you work at home.

Today with me its flies, I hate flies, if they are not buzzing around your head, they are crawling over your screen being totally irritating and distracting.  They won't leave when you ask them nicely, I leave a nice window open for them and they still won't exit the house.  Even when threatened with the deadly spray they still stubbornly refuse to go away.

Only yesterday my young grandson got stung by a bee, it somehow got down the back of his t-shirt when we were out for a walk.  He's ok just was a bit frightened at the time he's only 2 years old so soon forgot about it.  But it got me thinking, what purpose do these blasted insects serve ? what are they here for ? all they seem to do is bite, sting, buzz and generally " bug the hell out of you " if you pardon the expression.

So I thought I would put my research hat on and just check out what our pesky little insect friends are here for:

Some words that women choose to use can be somewhat universal in nature.

"Women don't want to hear what you think. Women want to hear what they think - in a deeper voice.---Bill Cosby

Some definitions of the "Words" that Women choose to Use - The American version:

FINE - This is the word most used at the end of an argument when we feel we are right; but need to shut you up.  NEVER  use fine to describe how a woman looks.  This will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES  -  This is usually half an hour.  Much more equivalent to the 5 minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash; so could possibly end up as an even trade.

NOTHING -  If you ask her what is wrong and she says "NOTHING," this means "something" and you should be on your toes.  NOTHING is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards.  "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last 5 minutes and end with the word FINE.

GO AHEAD (with raised eyebrows) - This is a dare.  One that will result in a woman getting upset over NOTHING  and will end with the word FINE.

Living to earn is very different from earning a living, with the latter, you can be more adventurous, life can be more fun, especially when you are pursuing the things that you really like and earning money in the process. This is the reason why people who have chosen an unlikely route just so they can earn good amount of cash will likely feel the downside of their decision at some point on their lives.

Stuck In Your Comfort Zone

Are you at a place where you feel like you are already too comfortable?  If you have been working the same job, which was not what you really wanted to do, each day is the same repetitive routine, and it is just the process of keeping your head down and getting the job done.  You Are Stuck In A Rut.  But are you living the life that you really wanted to live? Just Another Pyramid Scheme - Syndication Express

Those of us in network marketing have heard this dozens, perhaps even hundreds of times!  In my opinion, it is a ridiculous statement!  

In Corporate America, companies have a CEO, Vice-Presidents, Supervisors & Managers and the General Workers.  Somehow THIS business model does look like a Pyramid!  The guy at the top makes far more than those below him.  In network marketing, those who join on the lower levels have as much opportunity as those “above” them to earn a large income.  They are not limited by “titles,” and if they work hard—patiently, consistently and persistently, they can earn as much or more than those who joined before them.

It can be annoying to hear prospects—or friends and family—refer to our businesses as a Pyramid Scheme.  We know we have a real, legitimate business, and that term automatically indicates that others believe it is a scam.
