ARE YOU A NEW PENCIL ABOUT TO BE PUT IN THE BOX? - Syndication Express

This story called, “The Parable of the Pencil” by an unknown author has so many lessons for life.

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

“There are five things you need to know,” he told the pencil, “before I

send you out into the world.”

“Always remember them and never forget, and you will  become the best

pencil you can be.

“One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow

yourself to be held in Someone's hand.”

MLM Training - You Can’t Mentor Someone If They Can’t Be Coached

Many new distributors have their own ideas of how they want to do network marketing. They are going to be unique. Or, they have a special skill that is hard to duplicate, but they want to apply it to their business.

Before we discourage them, let's consider this. They are self-starters. That's good.

So here is a tactful way of offering to help them with some guidance. Simply say:

"About 15 million other distributors started out on the same journey you are about to take. Would you like to know some interesting secrets they discovered?"

It is a lot easier offering advice when it is requested. And, we are honoring their opinion that they know the best way to do it. We are simply passing on some secrets that they would like to know.

You will find this works better and they will LISTEN to you because of your approach.

What Are The Benefits of a Facebook Business Fan Page - Syndication Express

Here are 10 benefits of having a Facebook Fan Page for your business by Scott Ayres, PostPlanner

1.  Increased Exposure to Potential Customers

  • 1.19 BILLION USERS.
  • If your business can’t find new customers on Facebook, maybe you should rethink your line of work.

2.  Gather More Leads

  • Just having people Like your page isn’t enough to provide yourself with a long-term, sustainable business.
  • Smart businesses gather leads in the form of email addresses — so they can contact their community outside of Facebook.
  • Be careful how you use your leads.
  • Don’t hammer fans with daily emails peddling affiliate products & other junk — unless that’s what they signed up for.
  • Email them consistently once or twice a week with helpful information that also leads them to your website — where they hopefully will become customers.

3.  Lower Your Marketing Expenses

  • Starting a Facebook business page costs you exactly $0.
  • Getting rolling with a page costs you nothing until you start paying for ads to get page Likes, boosting posts & running Sponsored Stories – all of which you should be doing with your page.
  • By targeting your ads to people interested in your page’s topic, you can definitely keep costs low.

Leaders Have Vision

"The only thing worst than being blind is having sight but no vision." - Helen Keller

John Maxwell wrote the bestseller "21 Indispensable qualities of a leader"
in 1999. For about a month I've been discussing in this book's
principles in a series of posts. For $3 - You can grab a copy of the
book for your Kindle or a little more for a print version http://ow.ly/rGHIZ it's a great read...

The last of the 21 qualities of a leader is Vision...

Without Vision you can't lead. Be sure you can answer this question before it comes up...

What's your vision for your company?"

Proverbs 29:18 says - "Where there is no vision, the people perish"

Vision comes from within YOU - you can't borrow it, buy it or rent it. It's what you think.

Vision is based on your experience but it's only limited by your past experience if you let it be.

One last place I want to share with you. It’s my Facebook group called “Why Should I Buy Your Product Or Service?”  Yes that's the name of the group, trust me it’s a very active group with 20,000+ members in it and many people are being added everyday. I request/recommend that you join my group.

The main reason is because I don’t allow members to use Hootsuite or similar apps to make their post. If they do then I simply  remove them from the group. It is working very well and people are communicating with each other. I encourage people to connect with group members. Don't just post and run. I get comments from members telling me that my group is awesome. Everyday people are requesting to join and I add them all at my earliest convenience.

Birthdays - Today I Am A Year Older And Wiser

I have a quick question for you. Since many people like to celebrate when they are having a birthday. They want everyone they know it’s there birthday.

Why is that?

In my opinion, I think it is the person way of saying “Hey today I was born on this day on whatever the year is.”

In actuality it should be about you having grown as a person and making adjustments in your life to be the person that God wants you to be.

Where do you think you get your wisdom from? Of course God gives it to us at the proper time when you have that personal relationship with him.

This is how he guides you in life when you are obedient to his word because he knows that we are imperfect and he forgives us always. He will guide us on what we should do in our lives. We just have to ask him when we pray and be genuine because he knows if we are not. He reads our hearts and knows if we are being real with him.
